U.S. News & World Report Ranks Millsaps Top-Tier in 2012 America's Best Colleges Issue Millsaps College is the top-ranked liberal arts college in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and Arkansas according to U.S. News & World Report's 2012 America's Best Colleges issue. Overall, Millsaps ranked No. 85 on the list that includes 252 national liberal arts colleges. The magazine also named Millsaps to the list of "High School Counselors' Picks" for the second consecutive year. |

Millsaps College Ranked Among Best Schools in Nation In The Princeton Review's The Best 376 Colleges, Millsaps was ranked among the best in the nation. Based on student responses, Millsaps professors received the eighth highest ranking in the country as a college where students consider their instructors "good teachers," Professors Get High Marks (No. 8). Students also value relationships with the local Jackson community, Town-Gown Relations Are Great (No. 19). The Princeton Review named the Else School of Management at Millsaps College one of the Best Business Schools in the Southeast in the 2011 edition of its book, The Best 300 Business Schools. |

Fiske Guide Names Millsaps a "Best Buy" Fiske Guide to Colleges 2012 named Millsaps a "Best Buy" based on the quality of the College's academic offerings in relation to the cost of attendance. Millsaps is the only college in Mississippi to be named a Best Buy. The Fiske Guide to Colleges comments on the college's motto, ad excellentiam, meaning "promoting excellence" and says, "What differentiates the school is its focus on scholarly inquiry, spiritual growth, and community service, along with its Heritage Program, an interdisciplinary approach to world culture." |
