What is the International Business Program?
 The International Business Advantage Program is a two-week summer program designed to cultivate cultural awareness and an understanding of business practices in a developing country. You’ll spend 5 days studying international business on the Millsaps campus in Jackson, Mississippi, and then you’ll spend the next 5 days in Merida, Mexico at the Millsaps Center for Business and Culture in Yucatan.
Who can go?
This program is tailor-made for exemplary high school students during the summer before their senior year. You should have at least a 3.4 GPA, be interested in majoring in business and considering attending Millsaps College.
When is the program?
This year's program will take place from Monday, June 8 — Thursday, June 18, 2009.
How much does it cost?
 The total cost of the program is $2600, which includes all travel expenses, food and hospitality. There is a reservation fee of $250 that will be incorporated into the cost of the program.
After participating in the International Business Advantage Program, you will be awarded an additional $1,000 per year scholarship at Millsaps College. This scholarship is provided in addition to any other merit award. Recipients of the scholarship award will also receive a waiver of the $250 enrollment deposit at Millsaps College.
This financial aid opportunity allows you to earn almost twice the initial costs of the program over your four years at Millsaps College. Essentially, the International Business Advantage program pays for itself plus some!
