The Millsaps Parents Council and the Office of Parent Relations have created the Millsaps College Parents' Handbook to assist parents of Millsaps students who may have questions about the College or the community around the College. Save the Date! Spring Family Weekend is set for February 24-25, 2012!
In the coming weeks, you will receive information about the activities taking place Spring Family Weekend. From the Parent's Reception on Friday, February 24, 2012, 5:30 - 7 p.m.with the President and Faculty members to the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Chili Bowl (student organizations compete against each other) on Saturday, February 25, 2012, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., to faculty panels and athletic events, there is something for everyone. Book your room now at the Cabot Lodge. Call (601) 948-8650 and ask for the "Millsaps Parent & Family Weekend" rate of $89. Millsaps parents are an important part of our community. Parents are invited to participate in all our campus activities, including athletic events, concerts and lectures, Spring Family Weekend and the celebrations that mark the close of the academic year and Commencement. Click here to be added to our parents' email distribution list.
The Parents Council coordinates Move-In Day for freshmen and their parents, assisting with unloading and settling in, answering questions, giving directions and offering a cool drink on a hot August day! The Parents Council is active throughout the year and assists with Homecoming and Spring Family Weekend.
