The Parents Council coordinates Move-In
Day for freshmen and their parents, including a reception
on Friday evening prior to Move-In Day and assistance with unloading
and "settling in" that includes answering questions, giving directions
and even offering a cool drink on a hot August day! The Parents
Council
is active throughout the year and assists with Family Weekend as
well as helping host receptions on campus during orientation.
The Office of Student Life (601.974.1200) and the
Institutional Advancement Office (601.974.1020) can provide information
and assistance to parents.
