William Storey specializes in the history of Southern Africa and Mauritius, while being more broadly concerned with world environmental history as well as the history of science, technology, and imperialism. He is the author of Guns, Race, and Power in Colonial South Africa (Cambridge University Press, 2008) and Science and Power in Colonial Mauritius (University of Rochester Press, 1997). He has also written a widely adopted textbook, Writing History: A Guide for Students (Oxford University Press, 3rd ed., 2009). |
