Acclaimed Vocal Pedagogue, Author and Millsaps Alum Leads Workshop
Dr. Clifton Ware, B.A. 1959, teacher, performer and author, visited Millsaps and was among leaders of the "Wellness Workshop for Wisdom" on May 12 and 13 that was presented by the Millsaps Department of Music, Vocal Arts Division.
Ware has been a professor of vocal pedagogy and pedagogy chair at the Schuessler Vocal Arts Center at the University of Minnesota. Also leading the workshop were Jean Smith Vaughn, special assistant attorney general who spoke about copyright law, and Margaret Dutcher, massage therapist and registered nurse, who led group relaxation techniques.
