Eudora Welty’s Secret Sharer: The Outside World and the Writer’s Imagination
Welty Workshop for Educators
Approximately 100 teachers from 19 states will visit Jackson in July for a week-long workshop hosted by Millsaps College and the Eudora Welty House to study the world, characters and events that sparked the imagination of one of America’s greatest authors.

They will perform Franz Schubert's Rondo in A major, Op. 107, and Anton Webern's Two Pieces (1899) Cello and Piano: Langsam (G major) and Langsam (F major), as well as Webern's Three Little Pieces for Cello and Piano: Op. 11.

Handel's Recitative and Aria: Cantata for Soprano (from Lucretia), "Ma voi forse nel Cielo," and "Il suol che preme." They will also perform Roger Quilter's Three Pastoral Songs: I will go with my father a-ploughing, Cherry Valley, and I wish and I wish.
