Millsaps College professor and Eudora Welty biographer Suzanne Marrs will appear on The Diane Rehm Show on Wednesday, June 25 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
The radio show will focus on Eudora Welty’s autobiography “One Writer’s Beginnings.” The book was the first best-seller in the history of Harvard University Press. Other panelists are Mississippi writer Jack Nelson and author Kate Lehrer.
Marrs is the author of the award-winning 2005 book “Eudora Welty: A Biography” and teaches courses in composition, nineteen and twentieth-century American literature, and twentieth-century southern literature.
