2008-2009 Wellspring Program Application (PDF)
GET
INVOLVED!
Wellspring is planned and led by upperclassmen who
want to help first year students succeed. Be a part of this caring
community and change the way you view community service!
BUILD
RELATIONSHIPS!
Members of Wellspring will get the opportunity
to meet involved upperclassmen students who will lead weekly service
groups in the Jackson community. These groups will only require
about an hour a week (no time at all!) to establish lasting relationships
in the area.
STAND
FOR SOMETHING!
Each month Wellspring will choose an issue
(such as AIDS or homelessness) faced by members of the Jackson community.
We team up each month and educate Millsaps on the issue.
We then come together as a community to address the issue through
a project (for example, each member will volunteer an afternoon
to participate in a Habitat for Humanity Build or other project).
